School Nurse LPN 1:1

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care for an elementary student with complex medical needs in Hampton, GA. This is a highly rewarding role supporting a student who requires consistent, hands-on medical and daily living assistance throughout the school day and during transportation. Bus pickup appx. 6:15 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 1:1 nursing support for a student with a traumatic brain injury (TBI)

• Manage and monitor:

  • Seizure activity and response

  • G-tube feedings

  • Medication administration (med-load)

• Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs) due to full dependence

• Ride the school bus/van with the student to and from home each day

  (Transportation time is fully paid)

• Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with school staff

Requirements

• Active Georgia LPN license

• Experience with:

  • Seizure monitoring

  • G-tube care

  • Medication administration

• Experience with TBI or high-acuity students preferred

• Comfortable supporting a fully dependent student

• Reliable, patient-focused, and team-oriented
