Summary:

We are hiring a School Psychologist to support multiple K–12 campuses in Federal Way, WA. This full-time, Monday–Friday role follows the school calendar and offers a balanced mix of assessment, consultation, student support, and collaborative problem-solving. The position serves diverse learners across general education and Special Education settings, providing meaningful impact at both the individual and systems level.

Schedule: Full-Time | School Hours | Monday–Friday

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations using standardized tools

  • Write clear, actionable reports and present findings during IEP meetings

  • Support MTSS teams with intervention planning, data review, and Tier 1–3 recommendations

  • Conduct FBAs and assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans with teachers and staff

  • Provide short-term counseling, crisis triage, and referral recommendations

  • Communicate consistently with families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain compliance with IDEA timelines, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines

Qualifications

  • Valid WA ESA School Psychologist certification

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology

  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
