School Nurse LPN

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a student in the Gettysburg, PA area during the upcoming school year.

Position Details

• Location: Gettysburg, PA
• Position: 1:1 School Nurse (LPN)
• Schedule: School-day hours, Monday through Friday
• Transportation: May involve riding van/bus with student each day
• Employment: Full-time for the upcoming school year
• Setting: Public school

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to one assigned student throughout the school day.
• Monitor and document the student's health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the student's well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Pediatric, school nursing, or 1:1 care experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the school team.
